Launch of the Java World & Exhibition Congress-2010

Launch of the Java World Congress & Exhibition is scheduled for 13th July 2010 at 2.00 p.m at the Auditorium of the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (www.slithm.edu.lk) Colombo, Sri Lanka (No 78, Galle Road, Colombo 03, Sri Lanka) attached to the Ministry of Economic Development. Hon Basil Rajapakse, Minister of Economic Development and Senior Presidential Advisor will be the Chief Guest of this event. At this Congress a Global dialogue will be taking place on integrating Open Source Java Technologies to build and strengthen Social Capital in achieving United Nations Development Goals. Subjects such as Education, Employment & Livelihoods, Food & Nutrition, Health, Sustainable Environment, Arts & Culture, Information & Communication, Housing & Basic Infrastructure, Science & Technologies will be discussed with special focus on SME & Micro Enterprise Development and Youth Entrepreneurship. The official Web Site for the Java World Congress & Exhibition www.javaworldcongress.org will also be launched at this function. A number of Government Officials, UN Officials, Media, University Academics, Cooperate leaders, Chamber Heads, Community and Civil Society Leaders are invited for this event. Java World Congress & Exhibition will be the World's largest event on United Nations on Millennium Development Goals where more than 100,000 participants are expected to visit the Congress Exhibition - Java Sri Lanka 2010 Exhibition.
